On September 3, a music video was uploaded to Youtube and it has been the hottest trending topic on all social media network. It even made an appearance on Ellen Degeneres's talk show. If you have not heard of this video by now, here it is: The Fox.
The fox was uploaded by two brothers from Norway who go by the group name Ylvis. The video begins with a group of people dressed up as animals at a classy house party, then the music drops and followed by some extremely simple and childish lyrics addressing the different animal sound and noises. Right before the leading up to the chorus, the singer asks ''What does the Fox Say?'' and enters the chorus.
Here's the fun part: the chorus consists of no real words other than presumptuous noise of a fox. The singer appears wearing a fox costumers and begins to dance in a forest with a group of dancers in masks. Here are the lyrics to the chorus:

This catchy tune and crazy video had gone viral on Youtube receiving 39,000,000 views in less than 3 weeks. The thing about the internet is that: you never know what is going to go viral. (mostly ridiculously crazy and dumb stuff though. Ex. Harlem Shake, Gangnam Style) M first watch of The Fox brought me these words to mind: ''What did I just watch?'' the second watch made me laugh and giggle because you realize how superficial and none-sense this video is. It literally has no other deeper meaning than ''we are just trying to imagine what would a fox sound like. ''. The third watch gave me a full on laugh rage because the non-lyrical chorus is just far too ridiculous to be an actual song.
This video is definitely worth checking out (don't want to be left behind on the top trending topics now do we?) If you are looking for something funny and that will completely blow your mind, give ''the fox'' a try! also if you want to confuse your friends but also make then laugh, this is definitely the go-to video.
