Bound 2, Bound 3

Kanye West's newest music video for his hit single 'Bound 2' was released on youtube 2 months ago featuring his newly engaged fiance, Kim Kardashian. This video was popular to earn 1 million hits after one week. Today the video stands at 24 million views thanks to another video released shortly after 'Bound 2', this video was 'Bound 3'. 

Bound 3 is not a sequel of Bound 2. Bound 3 was a parody video of Kanye's Bound 2. Bound 3 was produced by James Franco starring the man himself and his buddy Seth Rogen. While the 2 movies stars were having a little bit of downtime, after seeing Kanye's ridiculous music video (which features multiple pointless scenery shots, Kanye and Kim on a motorcycle, with Kim completely topless and a terrible song) the duo decided to create a spoof of the song; shot by shot. 

In bound 3, James plays Kanye and Seth plays Kim. James wore a similar out to the one Kanye had on in the original and Seth Rogen was no afraid to show off his hairy chest! As much as the video was hilarious enough, there was peak in the video that made it THAT much better than bound 2. In bound 2, Kanye and Kim shared a passionate kiss halfway through the song. And as everyone expected, Franco and Seth had a even hotter make out session than Kimye! 

Bound 3 is what made bound 2 famous. The hilarious duo quickly attracted attention from all over the social media, Kim and Kanye included. Thank god that Kanye actually had a sense of humor and didn't file for a lawsuit or storm out and declare a war on James Franco. Phew! 

Bound 2 has 24 million hits with 271 thousands dislike and 100 thousands likes. Bound 3 THE ORIGINAL VIDEO received 3 millions hits and 500 dislikes and 23 thousand dislikes. However Bound 3 was reposted several times therefore the total view and like/dislike ratio can't be properly determined. 

San Francisco BatKid

The Riddler, the Penguin, they are no match for the Batkid! In San Francisco, a young United States citizen name Miles who is currently 5 years old and battling leukemia had a wish to be Batman for a day and save Gothem from the evil villains.

Miles's wish was granted through Make A Wish Foundation and the with the help of the entire San Francisco foundation. The streets in the city  were lined up for the brave Batkid to the save the day. Thousands of spectators and supporters came to San Francisco to cheer Miles on as he takes down the evil 

Penguin, saves a damsel in distress and stop the Riddler from robbing a bank. Miles was assembled by Batman to go help him save Gothem. They travelled in a black Lamborghini with Batman's symbol on the hood characterizing as the Bat Mobile. The make a wish foundation set up the streets of San Francisco and planted crimes for Miles to fight. Miles's heroic days caught many attention of celebrities around the country. 

President Obama sent Miles a Vine video cheering him on. Encouraging tweets came from Adam West, Val Kilmer, Ben Affleck, Hans Zimmer, New Orleans Saints, Cheryl Burke, Olivia Munn, Anna Kendrick, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, Khloe Kardashian, Zachary Levi, Haley Williams and from Batman himself; Christian Bale. 

''This little kid, oh my God — what a wonderful day for the little fella! It's just fantastic, seeing all those people who were out there to support it."- Christian Bale on Batkid. 

This is no doubt a touching story. It's absolutely amazing to see the community, the country and even the world coming together to support a little kid's wish. Now we know Gothem will be safe thanks to Batkid Miles Scott. It's news headlines like these that restores the lost faith in humanity. Great job Make A Wish Foundation and to you, Batkid! 

NBA at it's lowest - The return part 2

Well well well, NBA had just begun and the 4 biggest star that everyone was waiting for the return have failed the public's expectation. Star point guard Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook and the legendary Kobe Byrant finally made their way back to the league for a fresh start but it turns out it was the only thing they started was The Return Part 2.

After Derrick Rose took the entire 2012- 2013 season off to recover from his ACL injury that occurred in March 2012, he was ready to show the world what the youngest MVP in the history is capable of. Rose was back on the first day of the pre-season and had a tremendous stat sheet. He lead the Chicago Bulls to number 1 standing in the eastern conference. His 2013-2014 career looked very promising. The regular season later started in November and Rose had marvelous scores... before he injured his knee once again! This time, Rose suffered from a tear in his meniscus in his right knee and has to under go a surgery. A day later his announcement of successful surgery, it was announced that Derrick Rose is out for the rest of the season. Yikes! 

As for Russell Westbrook who returned to the league in mid November, only missing a couple of games of the regular season, recorded his eighth triple-double on Dec 25. Two days after the Christmas game, Westbrook had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to be out through the All-Star Break. The legendary Kobe Bryant who suffered from torn Achilles in late 2013-14 season, returned to the league as well on Dec 8. After less than 2 weeks of participating in the regular season, Kobe Byrant suffered from  lateral tibial plateau fracture in his left knee and is expected to sit out through the All-Star break as well. 

With all these star returning and leaving, the fans could not help but worry for their team's future. Is Miami Heat going to dominate the championship title again? will anyone else have a chance with all these injured players? Even though NBA may be at it's lowest point right now, the fans never forgets to show love for their favorite players. In the second return of All-Star Ballot. Rose comes in 3rd in eastern conference back court, Russell Westbrook is 6th in Western conference back court and Bryant leads the number 1 spot in the Western back court as always. 

Ellen Degeneres' Hilarious Halloween Costume as Nicki Minaj

Halloween is a fun time everyone of all age. Celebrities included. On September 24, Nicki Minaj made a guest appearance on Ellen's talk show wearing the most revealing and crazy outfit. Nicki's 'special' wardrobe choice inspired Ellen's costume for this Halloween. (see picture below). The resemblance is uncanny.

Nicki Minaj's had always known for choice of fashion. From hair style to outfits down to shoes. However, I personally find Nicki's clothing choice on this one could potentially be a negative influence on the children. This particular 'jacket' that Nicki here had one seems to be a perfectly normal jacket that can be button all the way down but she simply chose not to. This could possibly inspire young girls to try the same thing. If it was a special outfit designed to look like this then it may be a little bit more acceptable. 

Anyways, Ellen's Nicki inspired costume definitely provided lots of laughter for the audience. Although Nicki hasn't made a response to Ellen's sarcastic costume. Ellen's hilarious idea made Nicki's appearance seemed like a big joke which in a way saves the children from believing that it is okay to dress like that.

Michael Jordan Auctions his 29 Million Dollars Mansion

The former Chicago Bulls star Michael is going to be auctioning off his 56,000 square foot mansion. This price for this gigantic 'personal resort' was reportedly not able to be sold at 29 millions dollars and had to be reduced to 21 million dollars instead. MJ's mansion has everything that a man could ever dream to have their house. It has a pool, a spa, a work out gym, a full size NBA regular court, a tennis court, wince cellar that holds more than 1,000 bottles, a cigar vault, and a high tech temperature control garage. This luxurious man is going to be auctioned off this month because when it previously set at 29 million dollars it could not be sold. Whoever wants to bid must deposit $250,000 deposit before hand.

With this ridiculous price and deposit, I am not so sure MJ will ever sold his mansion. Even though he did reduce the price by 8 million dollars, who is going to need all these space for just a home? Better off turning this mansion in to a real spa and resort. The space in this house is simply too big and doesn't have a 'homey feeling' to it. It may have all the luxury a man could ever ask for. The loneliness that comes with it is too much to bare for just one person.

5 Movies that should make Oscar 2014

Oscar 2013 is getting closer and closer. In fact, the official nominees will be released on January 16, 2014. Year of 2013 had been a big year for original movies. There had been numerous motions pictures that had been successful and really grabbed everyone's attention. Here are five movies that I think deserves to win an Oscar (in separate categories).

#5 Best Film Editing

Rush

#4 Best Costume Design 

The Great Gatsby 

#Best Visual Effect 

Pacific Rim 

#2 Animated Feature Film 

Epic 

#1 Best Motion Picture 

Gravity 

All five of these movies have their own reason that I think should be nominated for Oscar. But I want to specifically focus on Pacific Rim, Epic and The Great Gatsby here. Pacific Rim is probably the best sci-fi/action film I have seen all year. Not only that, this motion picture is completely original. The director did a fantastic job on creating giant CGI robots and monsters, as well as creating a world of apocalypse. The stunning colors and lighting in the movie definitely gave it an extra boost while watching the robots and monster fight to their death. 

Epic should be nominated to Best Animation Feature film because Epic is an original motion picture. Also, to our surprise, it was not produced by Walt Disney Picture. Epic was made by 20th Century Fox. The vividly and beautiful story and wonderful moral is definitely one of my top choice for children movie this year. 

The Great Gatsby was a wonderful master piece. The costumer designer brought a brand new vision of the amazing fashion of the Roaring Twenties. The glamours dresses and accessories for the ladies and the dashing tuxedo for the men made the movie seemed extra glamours and stunning. Unlike most movie that were set in the twenties, every cast and extras in the movie all had fabulous costumer to really recreate the Roaring Twenties. 

If you haven't seen these movies, I recommend you to give these movies a shot. They are some of the top movies that sits on the Oscar 2014 prediction list. Even if you are not a fan of the Oscar or don't believe in Oscar's judgement, personally I would still recommend you to watch these movies. I enjoyed watching them and I hope you enjoy them as well. 

Who started Movember?

Everyone knows about the strange tradition that goes on during the month of November where men stop shaving their mustache for 30 days. As much fun as Movember is, does anyone really know about how Movember started and why? Movember was actually started by this an NGO named with the same name. The reason why Movember was funded was to raise money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges. 

Movember started in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia and then this movement slowly spread across the country, and eventually turned into a global phenomenon. Now, more than 3 million peoples participate in this movement across 21 countries. Last year, roughly 1.1 million people joined Movemeber and raised over 146.6 million CAD. Movember works like breast cancer month, men start off the month with a clean shave, then grow and groom a mustache, asking friends and family to donate to the foundation for their effort. Many actor, celebrities and artists participates in this movement. They are literally the walking billboard for Movember thus raising awareness and inviting everyone to join Movember. 

People had always known about Movember but not many really know why it happens. Everyone I see friends and teachers walking around with a strange mustache at this time of the year but never really cared to find out why Movember exist. I think Movember is a great movement to participate it. After breast cancer month in October, as devastating as breast cancer it is for women, it's important not to forget that there are men who are suffering from different type of disease as well.

I would strongly recommend men to give a Movember a try at least once in their life time. Not only it's for a great cause, you can also rock a new look (chicks dig that)! Ladies, encourage your men to participate in this movement. After all, they did sit through breast cancer month. Now it's their turn to raise awareness for their gender. Have fun in Movember and don't forget to donate!
